Project summary

The brief

North East Wales Mind, a vital mental health charity serving Flintshire and Wrexham, approached us with an important task: to create a brochure that effectively communicates their services and support to those in need. They wanted a compelling, accessible piece to resonate with individuals facing mental health challenges, their families and potential supporters. The brochure had to convey their commitment to mental wellbeing whilst providing clear pathways for seeking help and getting involved. With our expertise in captivating design and clear communication, we were eager to take on this purposeful project.

The solution

We immersed ourselves in North East Wales Mind’s mission to craft a brochure that truly captured their spirit of support. Our design approach focused on creating a warm, welcoming feel to put readers at ease. We structured the content into clear sections: an inviting introduction, information on Wellbeing Activities, details about counselling services and ways to support the charity. Using a soothing colour palette and uplifting imagery, we complemented the supportive tone of the copy. The layout was designed for easy navigation, ensuring that crucial information like contact details and the website URL were prominently displayed, making it simple for those in need to reach out for help.

The results

The finished brochure became a powerful tool in North East Wales Mind’s outreach efforts, successfully balancing informative content with an empathetic tone. The charity was thrilled with how effectively it communicated its services and values, making mental health support feel more accessible. The clear structure has made it easier for individuals to understand and access available support, and the section on other ways to support the charity has aided their fundraising and volunteer recruitment efforts. We’re proud to have contributed to this important work, creating a brochure that serves as a beacon of hope for those struggling with mental health issues in Flintshire and Wrexham.
